Dave English - Executive Director of GLOBAL Opportunities has a passion for educating the church on the strategic importance of tentmaking missions. He served for 16 years with IVCF training students for lay ministry. He was the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director before attending Fuller Seminary. While at Fuller he served as Minister to Small Groups and Singles in an area church. A frequent lecturer at tentmaking courses and as guest speaker at missions events, Dave brings clarity and focus to the genius of apostle Paul's church planting movement and proves it's validity for today's missions era. He has been the editor of GO World, a quarterly tentmaking publication, since it was launched. Dave's articles have been published in many journals and translated into a number of languages. Dave and his wife Kendra live in Ft. Myers, Florida where he is busy building his own Bede airplane. Dave is available to speak at your missions event or church in the USA and Asia regions. Rocklin - International Director of GLOBAL Opportunities since 1999, desires to see new tentmakers leave for places where Jesus name is not known. An inspiring, passionate and entertaining speaker at many missions conferences, seminars and bible schools around the world. He is trilingual, has lived on three continents and traveled to over 40 countries. As a former tentmaker he began assisting the development of national tentmaking movements in Europe, working with traditional mission agencies to launch training and mobilizing efforts. He has twice pastored churches in transition, one which then sent him to India as a traditional missionary. Together with his wife Ruth, they served in China as tentmakers. Ari, Ruth and their three daughters live in beautiful James Bay on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Ari is available to speak in North America and in Europe. His strength is running fast paced tentmaking seminars and consulting with mission agencies to help develop their tentmaking vision. He is also an approved speaker for Perspectives courses, lesson 10 - How shall they hear? He is educated as a journalist and writes a weekly column for a daily newspaper in Norway. In 2000 the Opheim family returned to Norway to start a national tentmaking organization called TENT, which means fire in Norwegian. TENT works with mission agencies, churches and individuals to promote tentmaking and runs seminars and courses. GLOBAL Opportunities was invited by TENT to help run the first TENTmaking course in 2002 and today it is the only such course in Europe held annually in the spring. Steinar, his wife Birgit and their five children live in Bergen, one of the most beautiful cities in Europe.
